New Year's Resoultion

        My New Year's Resolution would be to be happier and be independent. I'm determined to accomplish these resolutions. Another one of my goals would be to be more motivated. I'll like to be more happier because this year has brought a lot of negativity into my life and I want to focus more on my happiness as well as others. I'll also like to be more independent and more motivated in my life because I want to accomplish my goals in life and i can't do that without being independent and motivated.

Freedom of Expression essay

        Freedom of Expression is a big issue especially since the election finished and   Trump won, many protested and police abused protesters when most protesters don't do any harm and this is happening constantly. Which needs to stop if we can cause harm and be harmful to someone we can learn how to unharm. Freedom of speech is constantly abused by police, U.S. Citizens and parents.

                Recently, protesters have been getting badly injured for protesting what they believe is wrong. According to the article, South Dakota people are still protesting since April and it's still going on. Ways that protesters are getting hurt in the South Dakota is some people are bringing their trucks and running over them.The protesters are there to stand what they believe in. Evidence that proves this is that on April 28, 2016 in Costa Mesa, California. A Trump supporter was bloodied, presumably by anti-Trump protesters, during a chaotic scene outside one of the candidate's rallies.

 According to the article, that shows freedom of expression is that demonstrators at the Dakota Access pipeline were shot at with beanbag bag rounds, hit with pepper spray and taken into custody of the police. Also, Police sprayed protesters with water cannons in freezing weather after they tried to dismantle a barricade near the Dakota Access Pipeline construction site. Protest leaders called the move "life-threatening,” but officers say the protesters were being aggressive. These are pieces of evidence that shows that people are being threatened for what they believe in, and this is not acceptable.

          America has increased a huge amount of violence , fatal shootings by police are up in the first half of 2016, as compared to the same time last year, officer shootings have also been on the rise over the past year, many different kinds of violence has also increased for what people believe in. What is most alarming is that these violent acts are not only occurring on the streets, but in the school systems as well. School should be a place where children have fun and learn new things, but violence affects everyone and changes some people.
  People are getting hurt everyday for what they think and nothing is stopping this. Their is many more protest that are happening than just the pipeline and trump rally, this is happening at ever protest where most of them don't cause harm but people who are against protesters cause harm. This also causes more violence because kids are able to see what is happening and the kids are going to act like that when they are grown up also, kids might think that hurting or harming someone is okay.

Best gift I've gotten

 
         The best gift I've ever gotten were tickets to a Justin Bieber's concert. It was so amazing to me because he was touring after he took a break and his tour was called "Purpose tour". My parents gave me tickets to go see him and it was the best time I've ever had. It was a release album party of Justin Bieber's first album party after a while. It was located at Allstate Arena, it was November 18 when I went to his concert. I went to the concert because I was obsessed with him and I still am to today.

Ethan between Us

       




                 Ethan Between Us is a powerful story, told in the absorbed voice of a teenage girl, who discovers the transforming power of frienship and truth. I really enjoyed this book, its one of my favorite books so far. This book has strong characterization and a fresh setting. Ethan between us is a book that is about a girl named Clare who her best friend is Liz and they are going back to school and a boy named Ethan who just moved next door to Liz and Liz was the first one to talk to him. Clare was walking to go get food at a store near by and she hears someone playing music and she found out it came from Ethan house, he was playing the piano. Clare stayed to listen him playing and he stopped. A lot of situations happen and they fall in love but, something happens that ruins it badly.



           

Favorite quote

       I have many favorite quotes but my favorite so far will have to be "God doesn't create a lock without a key and god doesn't give you problems without its solution." To me it means that everything happens for a reason and everything is a lesson for you to learn from. My parents told me this when I couldn't figure something out and this quote has helped me through difficulties in my life and I will keep using this quote. If you ever need a boost or give up on something I recommend you to read this motivational quote.

What I'm thankful for

               What I'm most thankful is everything especially my friends and family because there always there for me when I need them and love me for who I am ,which makes me happy because this generation judges people for everything.I'm grateful for everything that I have such as a house or family that most people don't have . People don't appreciate what they have until they don't have it no more which saddens me because they don't know how lucky they are to have those things that not everyone has. Opportunities I've been given such as education I'm grateful for because getting education will help you in life and get you a great career.

Election Reflection

             My thoughts on this election is that this election made people insecure about their future, because many people did not like what trump or clinton offered and didn't know who to vote for so they chose the candidate that had the most reasonable statements because they felt that they know enough to be the president.My thoughts on the election result was that I was confused on how a guy that called women inappropriate things and he is a drama queen which makes me think how can he be the president of the U.S and be a drama queen. I would like to be able to vote in the next election because most people can't vote because they don't have papers which means their voice doesn't matter which is a lie, everyone's voice matters , no matter what the situation is.The most important thing in a election to me are the people because people have to choose who they want to be their next president who has to be fair to all and respect everyone no matter the problem. I'm sadden to hear that a racist is going to be our leader someone who think he can do whatever he wants to a women or is unfair to all, I know he will be the president of the United States next month but , he is not my president.
