Sports

There's many sports I like but, the sports that I like the most is volleyball, soccer, badminton and basketball. For highschool I'am going to try out for some sports teams and I'am most definitely have trying out for volleyball and badminton. I enjoy playing those sports and they het you active and for me i never get tired of playing those sports. I hope I would get into the team, I'am going to try my best to be on the team and I'm not going to give up on joining the team. I would love to be in the team because I would be playing a sport that I actually love playing. I hope for the best in highschool, my solution to trying to get in the best is to practice over and over until I'm good enough to be in the team and just hope I will get into the team.

Breathe

The book I have finished is called "breathe" by Cliff McNish, this book is a ghost story and it's about Jack who has asthma and his mom Sarah and they move into a new house after the father's death. The mom moves into the new house with jack to help them recover the loss of someone important in both of their lives. After Jack moves into the new house, something weird happens. In his first day in the house, Jack senses that it harbors many secrets. Jack then is able to hear and talk to ghost , he's the only one who can. Their is mother ghost and four children ghost and the children ghost warn Jack about the mother ghost and Jack starts to worry. Jack meets Isabella, Ghost Mother's daughter, she died of TB at a young age leaving her mother alone. Isabella and Jack work together to save the children ghost and settle things with Ghost Mother.

The theme of this book is death and grief I believe. I recommend this to those who like ghost story's or someone who like adventure because many thing happens int his book that makes you want to keep reading it. It has good structure  the author wants you to never put the book down, overall i think this is a really good book.

Experience at Heritage

This was my first year here at heritage and overall, this school is fun. We get to do many things here, we get help in our classes. They provide many activities and care for you. They provide things such as social workers, nurse, and etc. They try their past to keep the schools clean and have celebrations such as 5 de mayo, teacher appreaction day and etc. Everyone is kind, they help you if you need anything and help you think bigger. They have a class here called social justice and the class helps you think about capitalism in the outside world. They don't puts kids in smarter class if they're "smarter", they put all students in classes no matter they're intelligence. They prioritize the students and their education first than anything.

Where I'm going

They're many things I want to do in the future but, to explain simply right now because I don't know the future nobody does but,  right now I'm going to graduate middle school and later on high school, I will walk across the stage and receive my diploma proudly because I work hard for it. Later in life I want to become a Neurosurgeon or a Pediatrician, those are the careers I want to pursue the most. Becoming them is a goal of mine because I've always wanted to become that and have the job that I love. They're will be obstacles and I will overcome them. I will work hard to accomplish my goal and try my hardest to become one of the best. I don't know what college I'll be going to but, I will apply for a great school such as Northwestern University or University of Chicago. I will love to accomplish my goal and have a fun life.

Mistakes

Mistakes in life . Mistakes in life , is what make you ,you. You aren't perfect , you grow and learn from your mistakes . Everyone makes mistakes, and we learn from them, mistakes in life make you a bigger person because now you know what you shouldn't have done. Mistakes in life are our lessons, the best lessons learn came from the worst mistakes made. Be cognizant  next time for you won't do the same mistake. Also, it's not how we make mistakes but, how we correct them that defines us. "We all make mistakes, have struggles and regret things in life, you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles" - Steve Maraboli.  To me it means that mistakes have the power to turn you better into something then you were before. Don't do the same mistakes twice.

Butter

You think I eat a lot now? That's nothing. Tune in December 31st, when I will when I will stream a live broadcast of my last meal. I can't take another year in this fat suit, but I can end this year with a bang.If you can stomach it, you're invited to watch...as I eat myself to death.

- Butter

A lonely obese boy everyone calls "Butter", is going to live stream himself on New Year's Day and he's going to eat himself to death and everyone is inviting to watch. He gets bullied and teased for his weight and no one at school knows who he is. He announced it to his classmates and though he thought he was gutting to get insulted but , instead his classmates supported him. Once he makes the website about himself eating to death everyone seems to know who he is.They all want to be friends with him and encourage him to make a list of what he's going to eat. They make him feel comfortable and it begins to feel like popularity, he's always wanted to be popular and he gets used to it and feels like everything is possible, but what does he do when the deadline reaches ? Many people say he's not going to but, when he hears that he tells them he's going to demonstrate them , just to watch the live stream , does he eat himself to death?

I recommend this book to people who want to read about topics of bullying or are interested in reading a good book about popularity because this book sort of deals with why people like being popular, which is they feel better and think they could do whatever. I strongly recommend this to everyone, I don't dislike anything about this book , it's a really good book, I'm glad that I've read this book. The book itself is worth to read, it reminds us all , regardless of age, that compassion is much-needed in this world.

Friends

They're are many people who I love, I love each of them for many reasons, they're is only 5 people I need in my life excluding family. My best friend who I don't get to see much sadly but, still manages to keep a smile on my face and our facetimes I cherish truly, she always keeps me on my feet and always is there for me , when I need someone the most, I'm not a open person to many people, because you never know who's real or not , I used to be super close with friends and now they're strangers to me and I don't  want that with the five people who I truly love. Another person is my little sister, she always puts a smile on my face, always is by mine side, she is the biggest blessing I have gotten from god honestly, I love her with everything in me.

America is also another person I can't live without because no matter how mad or sad she always helps me through anything, I know I bother her but, that's because I don't want to lose her like I lost most friends, I won't give up on my friendship with her. Isabella is another person I can't lose because no words can you I'm grateful for her and I'm happy and thankful for our friendship, she is a very amazing person, I love her for who she is and I'll always be there for her no matter what and that's a fact. Finally, brianna , wow she is stunning not just by her looks but , her personality honestly. She only tells the truth to a person and when she sees me sad or anything she always comes up to me and asks me what's wrong. She is one of the many realist people I know , they all are and they all have a special place in my heart that no one can take. They support me through everything , give me advice. I love them with everything in me.

Good Friday

To many people Good Friday is a day off of school but, to me and many others it was a day Jesus was crucifixion of Jesus Christ. My mom signed me up for something called "Pazcual Juvenile" which is a place where you go and learn more about Jesus and what has happening during these three days which were April 14,15 for the youth. During those days I learned what happened and how he came back to the world. I learned many things that I didn't know before and made me realize that I'm glad I was able to during those days for 7 hours. They elaborated more and more of what happened and what caused it to happened. Many still don't believe in Jesus and the volunteers told us to #spreadtheword

My weekend for Spring Break was fun, I was able to hang out my friends, and family very often. I was able to hang out many times with them, I went roller skating with friends, went to their house and they came to my house , played volleyball with them . I was lucky to hang out with them , spending time with friends is always the best times , I would describe my friends as loving and caring, they make me into a better person. I was glad I could hang out with them.My family and I had cookouts and play volleyball as well, soccer and went shopping with them. Family time is always the best time because you can be yourself and I enjoy being with my family. My weekend was fun, and relaxing, I had a great time with everyone . My spring break was fun and a bit crazy but, overall I enjoyed some time off of school, I did enjoy my spring break a lot.

Life is Beautiful

The movie and our reading are very similar, it's just the movie, it shows a actual person's life and their perspective with the Nazi and being in the concentration camp, but in our reading we just read it but, we can't really visualize what's happening. Both describe the concentration camp , and how it influence or impacted people's life such as Jews, and people with disabilities or etc. They we're all in the same situation with the Nazi, them being taken away and put into a camp or gas chamber or ghettos as well. Many connections can be made between "Life is Beautiful" and our reading , such as when it talks about what happened during their time with the Nazi.

The mood of the movie was sad because one day the guy was home and the next he was taken away and put into a horrible place, with his child and he kept trying to tell the child it was just a game and it will be over and everything, because he didn't want his child to know what was happening during that time , he didn't want it to be stuck in his head how his dad was working nonstop and not being gave food or anything . The mood of the the child was fun or scared because he didn't know what was going on, as I said his dad told him it was a game and they were in it , telling his child whoever won got a tank.

Life is shown beautiful in the film "Life is beautiful " in many ways , two examples I recall from the movie is when the guy keeps telling the girl "Buon giorno, Principessa!" which means good morning princess and he keeps telling her this even in the camp and he try's his best to find her .An example that shows is when he talks to her through the speaker at the camp and he tells her they're still alive and their child talks through the speaker as well, he was willing to do anything to tell his wife they're were still alive.Another example would be when he played music while he was a waiter in the camp, he played music and she heard and she smiled even though she's not at the best place, he truly loves his wife even though they're not together and they haven't seen each other.

My Butterfly

            Night in the Ghetto

Another day has gone for the keeps
Into the bottomless pit of time.
Again it has wounded a man, held captive
                    by his brethren.

After dusk, he longs for bandages,
For soft hands to shield the eyes
From all the horrors that stare by day.

But in the ghetto, darkness, too, is kind
To weary eyes that all day long
                    have had to watch.

Anne Frank

My book is called Anne Frank , Anne Frank, her parents, sister, another family, and an older gentleman were Jews in the Netherlands during the German occupation of World War II. These eight people hid in a secret alcove above a factory. Anne had a friend who listened to all her thoughts during the next two years. “Kitty” was her diary.Anne Frank went into hiding with her family to escape from the Nazis. For two years, she couldn't go outside or run or shout or laugh too loudly. Instead, she poured her thoughts and feelings into her diary, which is now famous all over the world. This book has so many people hooked on too because many want to learn how her life was and how she survived the Nazi, since the Nazi almost took over the World.

I recommend this to whoever wants to learn more about her because this book talks a lot about her life and its very detailed. So many people love the book .Anyone who also likes her, This heartrending classic is a must-read, I strongly recommend this book

Propaganda

The text of this 1940 poster reads: “Youth Serves the Führer. All 10-year-olds into the Hitler Youth.” Membership in the Hitler Youth had become mandatory in 1936. This propaganda poster is trying to say that they should put their children in the Hitler Youth and that it is mandatory in 1940 . The intended audience would be the Non-Jews, because they were specially attacking Jews and other people with disabilities or etc. It try's to alter one's perspective by telling them it's mandatory and making them believe their side of the story. Many movies were about crushing Jews, killing Jews and etc. It is effective because their wasn't many movies that were positive about Jew , mnany were against because they're was so much hate against Jews and other people.

A Regret in My Life

A regret in my life that i've had was one time it was around December and I was practicing volleyball by myself with the wall of my garage and I was think what if I tried out for the volleyball team and I had a mindset of focusing on volleyball and weeks and months passed by it was almost try outs for volleyball , I was at my old school, I went to the meetings but I didn't try out at last, because I was nervous to try out, once I went the gym for the meeting , I felt scared and before I felt confident but, I didn't feel confident in that moment so I never tried out .This happened last year in January, my friends were trying out as well , I felt nervous and I was going to embarrass myself .If I could go back and redo that day I would try out and just be confident on making the team and just give it my best, what happened happens, but I shouldn't have gave up , I should have try out.

Who would you meet dead or alive ?

The person who I meet would be Anthony Rizzo. I would chose him because he is my role model not only because he won championship in baseball but the person who he is. I would probably play baseball with him at Wrigley field. I would as him question on how did he become the person he is today or how he pushed through all his problems he had to now being one of the best baseball players in the world. This person is 100% worth meeting because he had problems such as leukemia as a child to him becoming one of the best players not just in Chicago but in the world. Everyone is worth meeting because everyone is a good person but I've always looked up to him as a child .

Book Review of Peak

My book is called "Peak", this book is about a fourteen-year old named Peak Marcello who was caught arrested climbing a New York Skyscraper. He then become so popular all over social media and then when he sent to cour they make the decision to either go to Juvenile Detention or go live with his long-lost father, nobody but the judge and family know where peak would be locatedPeak quickly learns that his father's renewed interest in him has strings attached. He runs a climbing company in Thailand and he wants his son to be the youngest person to reach Everest summit and his motives are selfish at best.

I would recommend this to whoever like adventure, suspense , friendship and mystery because in some parts of the chapter it just left you hanging and you like you wanted to read the next chapter. he becomes friends with many new people . I haven't really read a book that's a novel and that the topic was climbing , this was a first for me and i really like this book , it gave very clear examples and details and its very suspenseful.

Super Bowl Commerical

Out of all the commercials the one that I had my mind on was the 84 Lumber Commercial. This commercial is important because it sends a message to everyone, the message is that "the will of succeed is always welcomed here" as it says in the commercial. I think the Lumber 8 was trying to the message across the word to let people know that they're with immigrants. Their intended response   , or claim is that the believe that immigrants should be able to come here and get a future fro thems lives or child, the world was meant for everyone and shouldn't be stopped from doing here.

best advice you've ever received ?!

One time I was so stressed about school and just social life also and when someone saw my they gave me advice .The best advice someone has suggested to me was "Enjoy today like, they're isn't a tomorrow" . To me this means that be happy that your alive today and enjoy the day like today is the last day to live, enjoy and be free from problems. I took this from the person because, they said "your stressing too much" and then they gave me the advice, and I took it because they said it will help me a lot through my life.  When I took this advice , I didn't stress too much anymore.

Worst argument ever!

I've never had a really bad argument but a argument that was bad was when me and my mom were yelling at each other because she always blames me for problems that happen in the house , if I'm their or not and one day I really got frustrated at school and now at home and I bursted my anger out and she blamed me for something I didn't do and she didn't let me talk , she just kept arguing and I was done arguing , I left to my room and didn't talk to anyone just stayed in my room , and the next day we made up and apologized to each other and she explained to me why she blames me for things that happen in the house. Which were that I cause a lot of problems and I was mad and we came up with a agreement which was not to yell if you don't know who caused the problem .

Fake it till you become it !

The aspects that I'm most confident is at home and with my family because they don't judge you and they love me for who I'am, they want the best for we. They're also always there for me and when I get sad or angry they try to cheer me unpost of the times.I need a confident boost at school because at school, you get judged on what you have, then who you are, an example would be that if you have an android ,your not cool if you have a iPhone then your cool. Many kids are still made fun of, bullied, and teased for what they have. This is a problem that many school have and people are even being racist to people because of they're color. Those who judge are not worth someone's time. Just be you

Kindness Over Break

One thing that I did over break that was kind would be how I helped my family make and serve food for those who were coming over because usually I just let them do it and I don't help them out and they have to make a lot of food for the people who were coming over. I usually just lay in the couch and watch tv. I thought I can help out this year instead of not helping because they make our food and I wanted to help them , to make the food a bit easier with more people. Also, I took much care of my little cousins and sisters at home without making my parents worry about what their doing.
