Life is Beautiful

The movie and our reading are very similar, it's just the movie, it shows a actual person's life and their perspective with the Nazi and being in the concentration camp, but in our reading we just read it but, we can't really visualize what's happening. Both describe the concentration camp , and how it influence or impacted people's life such as Jews, and people with disabilities or etc. They we're all in the same situation with the Nazi, them being taken away and put into a camp or gas chamber or ghettos as well. Many connections can be made between "Life is Beautiful" and our reading , such as when it talks about what happened during their time with the Nazi.

The mood of the movie was sad because one day the guy was home and the next he was taken away and put into a horrible place, with his child and he kept trying to tell the child it was just a game and it will be over and everything, because he didn't want his child to know what was happening during that time , he didn't want it to be stuck in his head how his dad was working nonstop and not being gave food or anything . The mood of the the child was fun or scared because he didn't know what was going on, as I said his dad told him it was a game and they were in it , telling his child whoever won got a tank.

Life is shown beautiful in the film "Life is beautiful " in many ways , two examples I recall from the movie is when the guy keeps telling the girl "Buon giorno, Principessa!" which means good morning princess and he keeps telling her this even in the camp and he try's his best to find her .An example that shows is when he talks to her through the speaker at the camp and he tells her they're still alive and their child talks through the speaker as well, he was willing to do anything to tell his wife they're were still alive.Another example would be when he played music while he was a waiter in the camp, he played music and she heard and she smiled even though she's not at the best place, he truly loves his wife even though they're not together and they haven't seen each other.

My Butterfly

            Night in the Ghetto

Another day has gone for the keeps
Into the bottomless pit of time.
Again it has wounded a man, held captive
                    by his brethren.

After dusk, he longs for bandages,
For soft hands to shield the eyes
From all the horrors that stare by day.

But in the ghetto, darkness, too, is kind
To weary eyes that all day long
                    have had to watch.

Anne Frank

My book is called Anne Frank , Anne Frank, her parents, sister, another family, and an older gentleman were Jews in the Netherlands during the German occupation of World War II. These eight people hid in a secret alcove above a factory. Anne had a friend who listened to all her thoughts during the next two years. “Kitty” was her diary.Anne Frank went into hiding with her family to escape from the Nazis. For two years, she couldn't go outside or run or shout or laugh too loudly. Instead, she poured her thoughts and feelings into her diary, which is now famous all over the world. This book has so many people hooked on too because many want to learn how her life was and how she survived the Nazi, since the Nazi almost took over the World.

I recommend this to whoever wants to learn more about her because this book talks a lot about her life and its very detailed. So many people love the book .Anyone who also likes her, This heartrending classic is a must-read, I strongly recommend this book

Propaganda

The text of this 1940 poster reads: “Youth Serves the Führer. All 10-year-olds into the Hitler Youth.” Membership in the Hitler Youth had become mandatory in 1936. This propaganda poster is trying to say that they should put their children in the Hitler Youth and that it is mandatory in 1940 . The intended audience would be the Non-Jews, because they were specially attacking Jews and other people with disabilities or etc. It try's to alter one's perspective by telling them it's mandatory and making them believe their side of the story. Many movies were about crushing Jews, killing Jews and etc. It is effective because their wasn't many movies that were positive about Jew , mnany were against because they're was so much hate against Jews and other people.

A Regret in My Life

A regret in my life that i've had was one time it was around December and I was practicing volleyball by myself with the wall of my garage and I was think what if I tried out for the volleyball team and I had a mindset of focusing on volleyball and weeks and months passed by it was almost try outs for volleyball , I was at my old school, I went to the meetings but I didn't try out at last, because I was nervous to try out, once I went the gym for the meeting , I felt scared and before I felt confident but, I didn't feel confident in that moment so I never tried out .This happened last year in January, my friends were trying out as well , I felt nervous and I was going to embarrass myself .If I could go back and redo that day I would try out and just be confident on making the team and just give it my best, what happened happens, but I shouldn't have gave up , I should have try out.
